RANDOM NEWS

Kabila to become powerless soon, says the Daily Nation in Nairobi. Sorry, the article is yesterday's. I did not have time to go through the press. But it is interesting, though among the comments, you'll find someone who says the article is trash. Those who know what is happening can tell on which side he is.

Nkunda guilty of several crimes, see details here, but sorry they are in French:

Egypt to provide the peacekeepers Ban Ki Moon has been asking for to increase Monuc presence in Eastern DRC. Now will they be deployed along the LRA controlled areas or FDLR's. Impossible to tell now. Most probably in the Oriental Province since the Rwandan troupes are still in North-Kivu.

Part of Goma said...

They want to beef up something...

Dear All , below a intersting article from the independant ( Uganda ).
I really appreciate this paragraph from the author of this article : "We talked politics, war and family life. Nkunda was courteous and engaging. He seemed serious about reaching out to western interests. I am not ashamed to say that I enjoyed our informal conversations after the interview. Why? Because I found a human who seemed genuinely concerned for the people of Congo."
