Il a déclaré hier qu'il craint des "massive, frightful massacres" in fighting fed by both Rwanda and Congo. He said Monday the incessant killing has created a stream of tens of thousands of refugees attacked wherever they go as they flee across the region.

Jean Paul Dietrich
MONUC peacekeepers have freed 13 minors under the age of 18, captured by the CNDP (Congrès National pour la Défense du Peuple) and forcibly recruited into its ranks.

Of course following the logic of this Gen. Nkunda eats children at breakfast. At a moment when UN credit gets brittle such stories come along. So the question is, why does Mr. Dietrich apply such psychological warfare? When German Army appeared in Kinshasa to help Joseph Kabila there was spread an enemy picture so as to heat up soldiers. But soldier union had great doubts about this fairy tales. And the question is allowed, were those 13 children really hold by CNDP and were they rather recruited by those gangs supported by MUNUC? Good idea to find this out!

The german reporter Johannes Nordmann is just making a reportage on Joseph Kabila. Let us hope that Joseph Kabila ne coupe les mains of this brave chap forced to hide because Frau Merkel wants him. This in contrast to her hiding

As the rebels continue to cause chaos, President Paul Kagame is in Germany where he has
urged its government to act on the FDLR leader Dr. Ignace Murwanashyaka - now living in Bonn.
"The German government needs to address this problem," President Kagame said following a
meeting with Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin.
Mrs. Merkel said Germany was looking into the issue closely, adding that some of the people
concerned were under UN travel sanction and had had their bank accounts frozen.
This is really a strange world!
