Ce matin à 4heures, heure locale, la localité de Mushaki fait l’objet d’une offensive de l’armée gouvernementale appuyée par des éléments PARECO et FDLR. Elle a d’abord pilonné à l’arme lourde les positions du CNDP avant d’engager des troupes au sol. Au moment où ces lignes sortent, le pilonnage continue, les troupes au sol viennent d’entrer en collusion avec nos troupes sur une des collines de Mushaki. Vous vous rappellerez que c’est depuis plusieurs jours que les positions du CNDP sont harcelées par les forces d’en-face sans qu’elles en soient empêchées par la MONUC, ce qui est inacceptable. Le CNDP ne restera pas longtemps sans rien faire, si ces offensives ne s’arrêtent pas pour donner la chance à la paix attendue de tous, le CNDP se verra dans l’obligation de se mettre en position utile dans les prochains jours pour mettre définitivement fin à ces aventures militaristes de l’armée gouvernementale et garantir plus de sécurité aux populations sous son contrôle".

My translation:

Tis morning at 4 am. Mushaki is under heavy gun fire launched by the government forces with the support of PARECO and FDLR elements.
